MAY Parasols – MADE IN GERMANY

There are many different components that combine to form a MAY Parasol. Take a look at all the different functions.

1 The cantilever parasols MEZZO and DACAPO were developed by us especially for private patios. The commercial cantilever parasol RIALTO is a multifaceted parasol for the hospitality industry.

2 The canopy is available in many different fabrics and colours.

3 All parasols from MAY are available with or without a valance.

4 The frame is produced using very high-quality extruded aluminium alloy profiles and is available in many different colours.

5 The parasol is supplied complete with a hand crank for operation.

6 Whether mobile or stationary, a foundation or a flat roof. The right parasol base is available from us.

1 The centre pole parasols SCHATTELLO and ALBATROS are telescopic parasols, meaning they automatically extend upwards when they are being closed. This usually means that tables and chairs can simply be left where they are. Details about centre pole parasols

2 The parasol canopy is available in a large number of fabric and colours. The parasol canopy that adorns the commercial parasols RIALTO, FILIUS, SCHATTELLO and ALBATROS can be printed with your own individual logo.

3 All parasols from MAY are available with or without a valance. The valances that adorn the commercial parasols RIALTO, FILIUS, SCHATTELLO and ALBATROS can be printed with your own individual logo.

4 The frame is produced using very high-quality extruded aluminium alloy profiles and is available in many different colours.

5 The parasol can be operated using a crank or by using a remote control and a Tubular motor + Smart-Home.

6 Whether mobile or stationary, a foundation or a flat roof. We’re sure to have exactly the right parasol bases for your needs.

Our sun protection textiles provide ideal protection against UV rays (tested according to the strict UV801 standard), are robust, durable and elaborately coated. About MAY

Our family company was founded by Anton May and his wife Gertrud May in 1983. “The art of the business is to satisfy the customer’s every requirement” – this is the principle that guides Anton May. By exhibiting creativity, innovativeness and an untiring pursuit of consistently better solutions, the MAY brand quickly became established on the market and soon became synonymous with high quality parasols that are a cut above the rest.

Today, three decades after the company was founded, the second generation is now at the helm of the family company, with brothers Karl-Heinz May and Klaus-Peter May now managing the company and combining tradition with a modern business acumen. There are more than 160 employees involved in producing parasols in the highest quality in the town of Betzenweiler in Upper Swabia, tailoring them to the customers’ preferences, ensuring versatility in function and design, and contributing a seemingly endless number of innovative ideas.
