Article-No. 200430

Conventional heating systems warm the air. It takes a long time for enough heat to build up for guests to notice it, and this is done at considerable expense. On days when the weather’s poor in particular, the wind blows the warm air away before guests can benefit from it. The infrared radiant heaters from MAY warm up the illuminated surface directly and uniformly. Guests sitting below them will notice a pleasant warmth right away, with no warm-up period. Warmth at the touch of a button – even when the wind is blowing. Only radiant heaters with a switch on the housing are used.

They are available in the following colours:

  • RAL 9010 pure white (matt, textured surface)
  • RAL 9006 white aluminium (matt, textured surface)
  • Custom colours upon request
With W-MAY connector IP68, 230 V, 50 Hz, protected against splashing water IP24 (ENEC).

Bar with swivel joint

Article-No. 200578

If swivel brackets can’t be used due to space constraints, bars with swivel joints can be used instead. Screwed directly onto the distribution flange, they are swivelled in individually before closing the parasol. As is the case for the swivel brackets, the radiant heaters do not need to be removed as they feature an integrated swivel coupler.

Safety & energy-saving options

Automatic restart protector

Article-No. 202051

The automatic protection switch prevents the radiant heaters from accidentally being switched on when the parasol is closed. This ensures that no heat can accumulate under the canopy (resulting in property damage or even the canopy catching fire).

Timer in the form of a push button on the junction box

Article-No. 202050

Do you want to keep energy costs down in the smokers’ corner? Your guests can activate the radiant heaters for 15 minutes by pressing a button. A small button with a big (savings) effect. If the distribution flange with the junction box is located at a height of 6' 7" or more, please use the timer with rocker switch, item no. 353017, instead.

Timer in the form of a rocker switch on the pole

Timer in the form of a rocker switch on the pole

Article-No. 353017

If the distribution flange with the junction box is located at a height of 6' 7\" or more, we recommend the timer with rocker switch on the pole instead. This is installed on the pole at a height of approx. 33.5" and provides easier access.
