To ensure this remains the case, your parasol needs effective protection from the effects of the weather. This is why all parasol models from MAY come with a tailor-made protective parasol cover as standard – regardless of whether it’s a cantilever parasol for the garden at home or a centre pole parasol for the hospitality industry, and regardless of the parasol’s shape and size as well.

A protective cover with a telescopic rod is available as an optional extra for the SCHATTELLO and ALBATROS large parasols – and is ideal for daily use. It provides your parasol with effective protection from vandals and aggressive substances such as pigeon droppings. In coastal regions in particular, wrapping your parasol in a cover every day is recommended due to the damage that wind, salt, iodine and sand can do to the material

We do, of course, have parasol covers for cantilever parasols, large parasols and all other types of parasols made to MAY’s exacting quality standards. This is why all protective parasol covers are made of special, high-quality tarpaulin material of the type also used as winter covers for boats in harbours – and feature perfect workmanship and are very easy to pull over the parasol. And in the event that the protective cover included as standard is damaged, MAY can still offer you a suitable replacement years later.

MAY protective covers are included as standard

A high-quality protective cover made of tarpaulin material is included as a standard item with all MAY Parasols. Even among our higher-priced competitors, this isn’t always the case.

The ALBATROS comes with a protective cover with a zip as standard, making it easy to retrofit with a cord and telescopic rod – should the parasol need to be covered with its protective cover frequently.
